How to create another Twitter account with the same email address

Creating a new Twitter account with the same email address isn't possible directly because Twitter requires each account to have a unique email address. However, you can work around this limitation using the following methods:

Use Gmail's Alias Feature

If you use Gmail, you can create unique email aliases that Twitter treats as different email addresses while all emails still arrive in your original Gmail inbox.

Steps:

  1. Modify Your Email Address:

    • Add a + alias to your email address. For example:
      • Original email: youremail@gmail.com
      • Alias for the new Twitter account: youremail+twitter2@gmail.com
    • Gmail ignores anything after the +, so all messages will still go to youremail@gmail.com.
  2. Sign Up for a New Twitter Account:

    • Go to Twitter Sign-Up.
    • Enter the alias email address (youremail+twitter2@gmail.com) during registration.
  3. Verify the Email:

    • Twitter will send a confirmation email to the alias. Check your inbox (youremail@gmail.com) and verify it.
